(Plus gloves)
28 degrees plus strong gusts of wind made for a pretty chilly run. But I ran at a local park that I don't get to very often, and it was a nice change.
Not only was I happy to have a good run, but I was glad to be "scoping out" the paths at this particular park, because it's where the Endless Summer 6 Hour Run will be this July. (More about that in another post!)
I will say, though, that I am glad that this crazy cold snap is only going to be a day long, and we'll be warming up again tomorrow. I think I may have said this a time or two (or two thousand), but I am ready for Spring!
Wow - hooray for you for getting out there even with the cold and wind today!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually so nice to be running fairly regularly again. I missed it!
DeleteGirl, I feel your pain, Cold, warm, cold, cold, snow, BLAH WILL THIS WINTER EVER ENNNNNNND.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out there on the trail!! So pretty!
I know! It's nuts! Here's hoping we all get Spring soon!
DeleteYou will be ok! Those paths look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty park - I'm looking forward to seeing it in warmer temps!
